Realised I had this in my notepad.
Time check 1425
Venue: Rocky path trekking towards crater lake.
Day 2
The clock ticks to 1pm..
Ringggg..
Oh man.. I didn't feel that I have slept at all.
First people were talking then wind got too big that sent canvas flying around..
So I didn't get much sleep..
And I could feel my muscle ache..
So we prepared to set off the 215am.
And I forgot my camera battery
The trek up to summit is very very very tiring.
And my stomach hurt at the beginning.
But my trek mates were very nice. They waited for me.
I was very slow.
1st part was hard due to the ground that is made up fine soil and pebble.
2nd part was better.
And last part is hell. Distance is not long. About few hundred meters. But I took almost 2 hours to complete.
Every step taken to venture forward, my toes and thighs are killing me..
And you have to put extra extra effort for every step. Because your step may retreat back to it original position due to the fine stones and pebble. It is a wonder when I reached the top. Time reached peak is 830am.
So I took quite a long while.
But scenery is beautiful:)
And we took no less than 2 hours to get down..
Hopefully no rain tomorrow.
At 4am, voices were heard. It was the prayer. Sleep, awake, sleep, awake throughout the night. Then,
Woke up at 6am. Wanted to see if the weather is good for sun rise. Unfortunately, weather was not as good as the day before.
We started our morning trying to dry our clothes.
And off we went to the hot spring!
10 mins from our tent
I glad that I brought my slippers.
Soaking our feet in the hot hot water is so nice!
Was very hot when my feet touched the water.
And I let my tiring feet stayed in the water for 20 mins.
Then the rest of the morning, our time were spent on trying our very best to dry our bags, socks, gloves, pants, shoes in the sun.
Felt like a housewife trying to get wet clothes dried. Haha.
Then off we go! To the next base camp. It was a nice walk up and up. And round the lake. Got to see the lake from different views.
We had to climb some rocks. And by 1 plus we reached base camp. Awesome view!
So we rested awhile, eating apple. And getting our guide and porter to tie my friend's poor shoe back to one piece.
They were brilliant.
Then.. It is all downslope.
My knee..
It hurted T_T
Managed to reach our next camp site at around 4.
I was very very tired.
Very tired.
But we talked till 9 plus 10..
I would say I can almost sleep when they were talking.
And and!
The stars are beautiful.
The entire sky is filled with stars.
First time in my life seeing so many stars.
Standing in the dark for about 10 mins..
It was too cold to bear. So off to bed. Erm sleeping bag.
Good night!
