It has been 3 months since my last post!
And I have been stuck at home for 3 months too.
Again, time flies.
I realised I have not been keeping up with my book-reading habit.
Supposed to read 3 books a month.
Let me check my progress..
I finished 7 books and I'm 7 books behind schedule..
I think I gonna read more in June.
I can finish up reading
Books that I had started...
1) Why we sleep by Matthew Walker
2) Antarctica by Gabrielle Walker
3) Nudge by Richard H. Thaler
Book that I just borrowed
4) Talking to Strangers by Malcolm Gladwell (ebook!)
So for the past 1 month or so, a recap of "meaningful"* things that I did.
*things that are not part of my normal life routine
1) FF7 remake on PS.
I finished normal mode and had spent 60 hours playing time. but I think i will need another 20 odd hours to complete. I think this is only time I had made full use of the PlayStation which I bought for almost a year.
2) Baked matcha cookie
I had not done baking for years...I can't remember exactly. The first batch was not successful but the rest came out fine! My siblings finished them all, so not too bad.
Probably I will bake cheesecake the next time.
3) Studying
Taking lessons on Edx. It's another course, part of the MicroMaster from GT.
And I will be taking the last one in August. So, gonna really brush up my python coding skill in June and July. It seems all my travel budget goes to studying this year. haha. but I am still wondering if I should take up Master..if I make up mind, I will need to contact my recommenders by next week!!
4) Investing in the World Index Fund
Finally, I took the step to invest in world ETF on interactive broker!
I started in March and had done two trades. I need to do my third trade next week... I had totally forgotten about it this week. And I need to record my transactions. So Gambatte!!
Invest early, retire early!
5) Guitar
wanted to start learning guitar again.
I had learnt 3 chords. but I sort of stopped for almost a week..oh no...
Gotten play it for 20 mins later on.
I guess that's all for these 3 months. Shall write again soon!
