Haven't had an epic moment for a longest time.
I was heading to the bus stop that was a mere 20 to 25 meters away from the hotel.
*It was after my company Christmas lunch.*
After leaving the hotel for 20 seconds, I felt drizzle and it was pouring heavily with "ferocious" wind blowing just 8 meters away from me.
I knew I had to make a decision fast! or in a couple of seconds I would be drenched.. I definitely not want to be a 落汤鸡. .
The first thing that came into my mind was
Run straight to the bus stop using all MY might! But in a split second, I decided it would be a very very bad choice.
Then, my next move was to find a shelter fast. I didn't think I could get back to the hotel in time. There was no way I could outrun a rainy cloud.
So! I quickly searched for my small-size umbrella, opened it, directed it against the wind direction and braved towards the pouring rain.
It felt like my umbrella was going to blow off any moment. And within a couple of seconds coming into contact with the heavy shower, my jeans and shoes were announced "drenched".
But fortunately, the bus stop wasn't very far away. And my bus arrived just right.
Nature is just so amazing...
I am simply amused by the different thoughts that went through my mind in those few seconds of my life.
Because of the fear of getting drenched. Haha.
